Her life was not going so well in Pusan, but soon would change. Sookan is a teenage girl who has fled Seoul because of the Korean War. She is now living in Pusan, a city on the other side of South Korea. Sookan lives with her brother and mother, along with the other refugees on top of a small mountain. Sookan falls in love with a handsome teenage boy, Junho, after she joins the church choir. Unfortunately, the war is coming to an end and Sookan is afraid that her secret romance is coming to an end. |
