Tomi was a boy that was born in Hawaii. His parents had moved from Japan to Hawaii to escape poverty. Tomi plays with his friends on a team called the Rats. He is in eighth grade. In the middle of the year, during the bombing of Pear Harbor, his dad and grandpa are arrested for being Japanese. That day, Tomi gets home and notices only his mom is there. What will he do?
