Introduction

In the next few paragraphs you will be reading about the story, The Path Of the pale horse.  The amazing characters in this story are trying to help the nation from being ill.  Now the only doctor that can save them is lep.

 

 

Summary

Lep is a very devoted man to find a cure for the epidemic of 1793.  Dr. Peale is an apprentice of Lep and is almost as devoted as lep. 

Lep and dr. peale are operating on mr. Tweakfield, a man who donated his body to finding a cure to this epidemic.   In this story,  Mr. Tweakfield caught the epidemic that is spreading across the nation.  Clara, mr. TweakfieldŐs daughter, is doing anything she can to help lep and dr. peale operte on mr. Tweakfield. 

When the epidemic spread as far west as it could, Clara found an egg which was colored gold on one side the regular egg color of white. Lep and dr. peale ignored her and thought she painted it that color.  She herself studied the chickens that produced this egg.  She figured out that the egg when in liquid form was a healer. 

she rushed one of the eggs over to her dad but, her dad died an hour before she figured that out.

 

 

 

 

Main Characters & setting

This story takes place in The United states of America.  This story takes place in 1793.

 

v   Lep- A man who lives to heal others.  In other words he is a doctor.  This Doctor is trying to find a cure to the epiemic of 1793.

v   Dr. Peale- the apprentice of lep is Dr. Peale.  hye is almost as devoted to finding a cure to the epidemic as lep is.

v   mr. Tweakfield- Mr. Tweakfield is a man that lep and dr. peale are operating on.  Mr. tweakfield has given his life yo help himselfand many otherss with the epidemic.

v   Clara- Clara is the daughter of Mr. Tweakfield. clara is trying to help in any way possible to lfind a cure for what her dad has.

 

Book Review

       I would recommend this book to a friend.  I would recommend it because this book is very suspensful.  another reason is because the book keeps guesing and keeps you reading.

 

 

 

About the Author

Paul Fleischman Is the son of the well-known author Sid Fleischman.  He wrote fifteen different books for younger people and older too.  He got a Newbury Award in 1989 for the book A Joyful Noise.  He grew up with his dadŐs literature and his dadŐs music.
