ÒUnder a War-Torn SkyÓ is story that values leadership
and heroism during a time of war, yet doesnÕt glorify war.
This story is about a young, nine-teen year old boy in WWII, Henry Foster. While Henry is fighting the Hitler Luftwaffe ships, he flies over enemy territory and his plane is shot down. He is now trying to survive in occupied France. He struggled to stay alive while helping the others in his squadron survive also. He comes to realization that all French were in great peril than he thought. He finds a couple of freedom fighters who try to protect each other with all their strength and determination until the U.S.A army comes back for Henry and hos friends. The army eventually finds them after 3 weeks and shipped them back to New York City and he reunited with his family
Henry Forester is the youngest in his Air Force Squadron yet the one with the best leadership skills. Henry is born in New York City and is from Western European descent. During World War 2 Henry was flying his squadron over Normandy in occupied France when he was shot down by German Messerschmitt plane.

This
book was very well written and exceptionally developed. The main character,
Henry Forester, is an extremely well-developed and complex character. The Plot
of the story is was thoroughly thought out and well developed. The Setting of
the Story is well described. For example, when I was reading this story, I
would feel as if were in France during WWII.
