Intro
Go on an adventure through
time with Adam as he witnesses
some of the most important facts in the United States history. |

On December 7, 1941 Adam Pelko, a fifteen year old witnessed his fathers ship sink on the day Pearl Harbor was attacked by the Japanese . His fatherÕs ship was the USS Arizona. After his father died the family moved to Bakersfield , California. He left his best friend behind in Pearl Harbor. Then after a while Adam
receives a letter from his best friend saying that his father was suspected a
Japanese spy and was taken to a Japanese internment camp called Manzanar.
Adam decides to go and look for daviÕs Father. Adam decides that he is now
going to the Japanese internment camp. But he canÕt find the train to
Manzanar. So he asks a marine corps officer were to find a train to Manzanar
and the officer tells him to sneak on a troop train. And gets to Manzanar but
soon finds that DaviÕs father is gone. So Adam goes home. When Adam gets home
he receives a letter from Davi saying that his father is back home and is
doing all right. |

Book Review
I thought that the book was
well written and had a good meaning. It showed a lot of lessons such as never
give up and always help a friend when they are in need. |
