3rd Grade Homework Assignments

Math:  study for fours times table quiz; know how to get perimeter and area.  You can find examples of perimeter and area in today's Thursday packet.

Spelling:  study all eighteen words on pg. 82 for spelling test.

Book report:  continue to read chapter book and take notes in your notebook

Spanish:  study week 3

 

Usually I assign a weekly paragraph on Wednesday.  However, we are working on a paragraph in class this week. 

The following are the assignments for today:

Math ditto:  perimeter, area; continue to study for the fours times table quiz.  Many of the students do not yet have these facts at their finger tips!

Spelling:  put the 18 (including challenge) words on page 82 in ABC order.

Math:  (x) ditto - students will use the pink multiplication chart in their homework folder to assist them with each math problem on this ditto.

Math test -  study for threes times tables test ..... know how to multiply with two digits (using ONLY two and three times tables.)  i.e.   43 x 3     62 x 2, etc.
