St. Brendan Fact Sheet
St. Brendan School’s 2025-2026 enrollment is 279 students. Although students come from all over San Francisco, we are primarily a neighborhood school. We draw our students largely from the West Portal neighborhood, Forest Hill, the Sunset District, St. Francis Wood and its environs, Miraloma Park, Noe Valley, and Cole Valley. While we welcome students of all faiths, most of our students are Catholic. Our ethnic makeup reflects the demographics of the neighborhoods from which we draw our students and is evolving to reflect the more diverse city-wide ethnic demographic.

Seventh and Eighth-grade students:
We want to provide a safe place for all students at our school and encourage our 7th and 8th graders to join the program at the reduced rate of $10 per day. We know these older students will help out where needed.
AFTER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS
In addition to the Extended Care program, after school enrichment classes are offered for a fee. Electivity provides programs such as HSPT (high school placement test) prep, STEM classes, chess, and many other options. Owl Music provides on-site band classes for participants in grades 4-8. Homework Club is available to grades 5-8 twice a week. The cost for after school classes varies per program.
FIVE AND UNDER "LITTLE NAVIGATORS" GROUP
Even if your child isn't quite ready for kindergarten, there are still so many ways to become part of the St. Brendan community. Joining our Five and Under Ministry, Little Navigators, is a wonderful way to meet fellow parents, engage in the community, and start building connections long before your child's first day of class. If you are interested in learning more about our Five and Under group email [email protected].
