Assignment
The sixth-grade students and their chaperones will depart St. Brendan School at 11:30 AM today and walk to the Forest Hill MUNI station. We will ride the subway to Powell Street Station, disembark, and walk to the theater at 405 Geary Street (one and a half blocks from Union Square). The performance of A Christmas Carol begins at 1:00 PM and ends at 2:45 PM. At the end of the performance, we will walk back to the Powell Street MUNI station, return to the Forest Hill station, and walk to St. Brendan School. We should return to school around 4:00 PM. Any child not picked upon our return will be sent to Extended Care.
To expedite our trip on MUNI, I suggest that students purchase a Clipper Card or have $1.50 in exact change for subway tickets to and from Powell Station downtown. Chaperones should also have either a Clipper Card or $5.00 ($2.25 each way) in exact change.
